630,000 WOMEN WILL VOTE
WASHINGTON. Oct. 31.—Figures compiled at the
census bureau here t«>day fix the number of women
who will vote at next Tuesday's election at 630.000,
and the male voters at 15.815,000. The statement say*
that 23,260,000 men are eligible to vote, but that not
more than 60 per cent of them will go to the polls.
Women arc now privilcdged to vote in mx states.

city on the completion of the canal.
