Will (J. Stoddard, who arrived here
last Sunday from Tampa. Iowa, to
work on the Inikc\° Newcomer ranch
south ot town, killed himself about
2 p. m. Tuesday afternoon, the body
U'inK found the next morning in the
water tank, which is situated in the
ham and is about two and a half feet
deep. Indications point, to the Tact
that the fellow, who was about twenty
years i.id. crawled into the tank and
then shot himself in the liKht temple
witli a Hii-caliljei' single-shot pistol,
the pistol being found in the tank.
In the absence of the coroner,
us! ice Lee acted in that capacity,
and selected II. \V. Allen. K. F. Sav
age and F. II. Cotton as the jury,
their verdict being that the young
man committed suicide. The remains
were shipped to Iowa last night.
