dren in most cases that figure

They have little home training and

the luside of a place of worship.

BULL CAUSES
A PANIC.
It wasn't a IVall street bull but
a common every day bull, that
caused a panic on the street last
evening by running u mule.
Through a restaurant window
went a boy, another was knocked
down, several fainted and the bull
went to the bottom of the Christi
ana in all probability.
The bull belonged to Wilckens
,V Staats of (lie Wilmington
Abattoir, and it was being led to
their pens near Second and Tat
nail streets, about 7.Ill) o'clock,
when it suddenly bocumo ffonziod
and darted up Tat,null street.
Small boys joined the drivers in
the pursuit, following the pesky
little animal by a circuitous route
that filially led them to Sixth and
Market streets.
It was about ten minutes lack
ing of N o'clock when tile fright
ened bovine darted into Market
street. Crowds were on both
sides ol t,ie thoroughfare, as it
was near llio time for perform
ances to begin in tlie theatres, an cl
there were not a few shoppers and

He was no ordinary animal, and
