WHEAT EASES Off; CLOSE UNSETTLED Heavy Rains in Southwest and Weakness at Liver pool Cause Downturn. v Chicago, March 25.—Heavy rains In the southwest caused the price of wheat to ease off today, as a dearth of moisture recently in that direction has tended to stop growth. Beside there were predictions of large receipts. The fact that Liverpool quotations were unchanged, notwithstanding the ad vance here yesterday, counted also against the bulls. Opening prices, which ranged from * to % lower with May 1.0814 to 1.08* and July 1.06*0 * to >4, were followed by a slight rally and then a new downturn. The close was unsettled, *0* to * net lower. In a match played off last night at the Re creation alleys by bowling a total of 2977 pins to 2962 for their opponents, making a team average of 991 on that showing. Asbury of the Royal Blues took the high Individual score of 264. This match was decided on the total number of pins bowled, not the number of games won. While the All-Stars took two out of the three games, the Royal Blue ran up the highest total number of pins for the three games. This play, while dif ferent in many ways from other produc tions put on by this company during its engagement here, was thoroughly enjoyed by last night's audience. Mr. Lorch had a less prominent part than usual, but Miss Fay appeared in a delightful role. The same play will be given at. the Pinney tonight The Majestic. Alice Brady, who was seen at the Majestic some time ago in "The Ballet Girl." plays the title role in "The Wo man in 47," the feature now shown at the same theater..
