ALLOTMENTS FOR IK COUNTIES NOT VET DETERMINED Announcement Will Be Made Within Few Days— Good Reports From Lib erty Loan Campaigners. County allotments for the second liberty loan will not be available for a short time. State Chairman D. W. Davis and H. S. Boone, representative of the San Francisco federal reserve bank, are now working ot the matter. Just as soon as they arrive at defin ite conclusions the figures will be made public. The allotments will be so arranged that between $9.000.000 and $10,000, 000 will be subscribed. It Is expected that Ada county wrill be asked to buy fronds amounting to approximately $900,000. Chairman Davis and H. S. Boone held a rousing meeting in Malad Mon day night. Today they have been meeting with the business inen of Weston. Franklin and Preston. They reported enthusiastic meetings at all places visited and expressed confi dence that. Idaho would do all that was expected of it. ENCU RAGING REPORTS. Decidedly encouraging reports are coming to t.he state headquarters from all of the county chairmen. Organiza tions for the big drive next week are being perfected and it is practically assured that a solicitor will call at every home In Idaho. In the rural districts solicitors have been provided with automobiles, so that the bonds can be taken to the ! farmers, if the farmers do not home j I j after them. Cattlemen and sheepmen will be rounded up. "Idaho Is asked for a large sum of money." said Mon tie B. Qwynn, "arid no one can be over looked. As its tille suggests, the drama is an exposition of conditions existing In practically every large community In America, and while the lesson is ob vious. there has been uo attempt on the part of the author or director to draw any definite conclusion. That is left to the viewpoint of the observer. During the engagement of "Who's Your Neighbor?" In Denver, where hundreds were turned away at every showing and it was found expedient j I to begin the performance in the morn- ; j ing to accommodate the crowds, the j drama was viewed by the most prom- I inent people of that city who have been engaged in attempting to remedy conditions said to exist there. The play was declared to have given a bet ter insight into the state of affairs as they had found them to be than any written report might possibly convey. The theme of the drama Is the world old question of the segregation of women of scarlet. And In the light of the experience of many municipalities, and the agitation that has been in- 1 creasing since the establishment near! many of the large cities of the great j cantonments. It is perhaps the time- , liest play of the year. During the engagement at the Pin ney showings will be given at 2:30; o'clock each afternoon and at 7:30 and 9 o'clock at night.
