McMinnville, Ore.—tMessage from former pastor.)—Mere words can nev convey an adequate expression of j the happiness that came to Trawln and myself at the loving re membrances of hosts of friends during our Inst days in Boise. The royal pub lic reception, the many gifts by groups and individuals, the accompanying delegation %o Nampa, all of these things linger in our memories to in spire to more loyal sacrifice In service. A word concerning our reception at s this end of the line may be of Interest On the first Sunday we were greeted by congregations filling both auditor ium and Sunday school room. Monday morning at chapel we were received with the usual enthusiasm of a college crowd and pledged tho united support of faculté and student body. Thursday evening Mrs. Trawln and the children came down from Port land to find that thoughtful friends had anticipated our needs by furnish ing the parsonage with their own he-1 longings, since our own are still in Boise owing to car shortage. A bounteous chicken dinner was served and we were at home from the begin ning as they slipped out and left us to partake "of our first meal. Hurrying away to prayer meeting we found a congregation of 250 people—which they tell us is not much above the usual attendance. Such a cordial reception inspires us to do our best to merit the co-operation of so responsive a people We can not close without expressing our great appreciation of the generous way In which the papers of Boise have given their space* to the church life of the community, as well as for the many courteslea extended to the min istry. May the coming years be re plete with blessings all their own for the good people of dear old Boise. CHARLES L. TR I WIN. Sunday school at 10 a. m. Rev. B. H.
