are situated in Carson mining district, Owyhee
County, Idaho, as shown by certificate« filed

Notice is hereby given that I will apply for a
franchise for building and operating a toll ferry
across the Snake river, ai a point, one half mile
west of the east line of Township six (6) South,
Range seven (7) east B. ^..same being between
Elmore County on the north side, and Owyhee
Conn» y on the south side of said river, being
near Indian Point. That said application will
be filed with the County Commissioners of El
more County on the 12th day of April 1909 at
their regular meeting to be held on that date at
Mountain Home in said County, to be acted on
by them as their convenience may permit. All

Transportation Builfling.
Seattle, Wash.—Actual demon
strations of every railway safety
device, approved and unexploited,
will be made daily in the Transpor
tation building and yards of the
Alaska-YukoD-Pacific Exposition,
which will open on June 1 at Seat
tie.
The Transportation Building is
now being hurried to completion
and tracks, spurs, switches, and
•'Y's" are already laid for the most
complete exemplification of general
and special railway traffic ever at
tempted on the grounds of an ex
position.
So desirous were eastern locomo
tive builder of taking advantage of

ped modern trolley as well as a
new underground trolley, which it
is claimed, does awav with all pre
vious objections to the underground
system, will he displayed in oper
ation.
Every known farm vehicle, reap
ers, stackers, harvesters, ploughs
and all else, even to the harness for
the horses, will he shown and the
big traction harvesters found work
ing throughout the West, will have
a place, with all of their down to
date improvements.
