Commissioners' Proceedings. Silver City, Idaho. Monday, April 10th 1911. The Board met in regular session at ten o'clock A. M. Present: C. H. Grete, Chairman, B. J. Gifford and A. J. Harley, Commissioners, and J.S.8tClair, Clerk. The following proceedings were had to wit: The following reports were examined aud approved : Joint quar terly report of Auditor and Treasurer. Board met pursuant to adjournment at ten o'clock a. m., with all members present. The Board read, examined and duly approved the Annual Financial State ment of the County Auditor for the fisial year beginning on the second Mon day of April, 1910, and ending on the second Monday of April, 1911. The petition for the repair of the Long Gulch road to Flint is ordered laid over until the next regular meeting. A bid for the repair of roads in Boad District No. 2, in the sum of $1870.00, submitted by J. T. Shea, was opened, and it appearing to the Board that said bid is excessive, it is ordered that the same be rejected. Whereupon,the Board appointed O. M. Bachelor as Overseer of Boad District No. 2. It is ordered that the petition of Kate Gillis, A. W. Tingwall and others for the establishment of a public road with in the King Hill segregation be granted ; that upon the ownerB of the lands thru which said proposed roads will run opening the same to the public, and furnishing the county with deeds for the right of way therefor, the Board will declare the same to be public high ways. Warner and others for the laying out of a new road in a portion of the King Hill Segregation : It appearing to the Board that such road is not of sufficient public importance to be opened and worked by the public, and that there is no necessity therefor, it is ordered that said petition be rejected. Whereupon, the following applications for liquor licences were granted : Michael Bock, Silver City, 12 months from April 14th. Kood & Nelson, Silver City, 12 months from April 30th. S. A. Sloper, DeLamar, 12 months from April 17th. DeLamar Drug Co., DeLamar, 12 months from April 30th. 76.00 Thursday, April 13, 1911. Board met pursuant to adjournment at ten o'clock a. in., with all members present. Whereupon, it is ordered that the rate of interest on county funds to be deposi ted in any bank be fixed at three cent per annum on the average daily balances. Whereupon, it is ordered that the Auditor be authorized to return to the First National Bank of Caldwell its bond heretofor presented to the Board for the security of county funds applied for to be deposited in said bank. The board examined and re-approved the depository bond of the Grand View State Bank. It is ordered that the Clerk advertise for bids for furnishing the county with 35 cords, more or less of wood. It is ordered that the clerk advertise for bide for the maintenance of the county hospital, etc. Whereupon, Charles M. Hays having presented to the board his resignation as Prosecuting Attorney, it is ordered that said resignation be accepted, and per of 80 d&5 ( tj ia t the petition of qualified electors of Owyhee County for the appointment of William Healy to fill the vacancy in said office. Whereupon, William Healy presented his official bond and was duly qualified as Prosecuting Attorney. The Board ordered warrants drawn on the Current Expense fund in payment of the following accounts. T D Farrer, hospital contract.. 300.00 Bruneau State Bank, witness certs The following claims were disallowed : J C Bartlett, $40.00 for professional services, etc. Matt Proud, for board $60.05, trans portation, etc, of J. Shaliday. It is ordered that the petition of S. A. McAnulty and othere for the creation of School District No. 26 be granted, and that said district be described aB follows: Beginning at the intersection of Snake river with the line between Bs. 8 &9 E. and runing south 7 miles ; thence east to a point opposite the SE corner of Sec. 33, T 5 S, B10 E ; thence north to Snake river ; thence down said river to place of beginning. Whereupon, the Board approved the bonds presented by the Bruneau State Bank as a depositary of county funds, in the sum of $22,500.00. It is ordered that the sum of $1073.08 remaining in the Bridge fund be trans ferred to the Warrant Bedemption fund. It is ordered that warrants be drawn on the Boad fund in payment of the following claims : B J Gifford, team hire A J. Harley, team hire .
