In another column will be found a report of the court's doings up to the time of going to press. A Brutal Deed- It is reported that a couple of men passing tho home ?f Mr. G. L. Moore, in Saratoga township, called his dog, a ten months shepherd pup to them, when one of them in the very presence of the family siezed the pup and cut its throat leaving it half dead. The man who would be guilty of such, an act would be a dangerous neighbor one just as likely to injure other do mestic animals as the farm dog. In deed it is no uncommon thing for ma liciously inclined persons toward the property of another to, by some means, get the dog which might bark at their presence at unseemly hours, out of the way. Their calling the dog to them as reported in this case, tends to show that it was not a vicious one.
