Cai.,• about 35 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and is converting it into a major hospital to accommodate 350 convalescent cases. The navy announcement stated that it was planned to bring pa tients from the Hawaiian Islands attack to the new hospital for treatment, particularly those suf fering from severe burns and in need of plastie surgery.
