On motion the sum of $125 or so much thereef as may be nesces sary was appropriated out of the funds of the fourth ward for the purpose of purchasing material to build a school house in the fourth ward, provided a suitable site of one acre be donated as a building lot for said house. Mr. Clarance J. Edwards is hereby authorized to receive and disburse the same. Resolved that the following named persons are hereby reques ted to act as visiting trustees for lie aforesaid school : Theogene Touchet, Ursin Frederick and John Conu"r.. On motion, Messrs. Lastie Boar. qune, Severien Primeanx, and F. D. Lelue, were appointed as trus tees for the school located in first ward near G. Duplantis. On motion the school in east portion of 2d ward relocated on land belonging to Mr Emile Thibodeaux about 4 acres from the present location. Or. motion the appointment of teachers for the different schools was postponed un til neat meeting. O,. motion the Ist school in 2d ward was closed and a school was located at or near J Bte Bertrand in said ward, On motion theo'l'reasurer is autboriz'd t6 pay the sum of one dollar and a half to J N Wil.iams to reimburse him for money expended by him for the Bor rd.
