The Biggest Corn that Grows.
Such is the verdict of all who have
seen the giant corn raised by J. B.
Armstrong, of Shenandoah, Iowa.
The varieties of corn which he propa
gates, have taken prizes at the Omaha
exposition and farmers in different
sections report a yield of from 85 to
130 bushels of shelled corn per acre.
In a private letter to the Editor Mr.
Armstrong makes the following offer:
In order to further introdtce my
superior Northern grown Seed Corn,
I have decided to make a collection
of my different varieties, including,
One package-Early Yellow Rose.
One package-Snowflake White.
One package-Mortgage Lifter.
One package-White Pride of
Making a total of one lpound.
I hope to induce all who receive
my circulars to give one or more of
these varieties a trial, therefore I will
mail the above collection post-paid,
to any one in the U. S. for 25 cents
in stamps or silver.
These famous varieties of corn will
be sold this year (1899) at $1.00
per bushel; sacks 20c-five bushels
lots, sacks free. Sa. end five cents
in stamps for a package of each of
the above named corns and '"Hints
on Corn Growing"--a 24-page book,
telling how up-to-date farmers grow
the big crops of 100 to 150 bushels
acre in 90 to 100 days.
