The Midsummer Fiction-Art num - of Frank Leslie's Popular Monthly published July 20th, bids fair to be the most brilliant magazine prodrc tion of the season. Within an artis tic cover by Wenzell, willibe gather ed such contributions as: An illustrat ed poem by W. D. Hlowells; short stories by Ruth McE:Žary Stuart, Joel Chandler Harris, Edear Fawcett, Etta W. Pierce and Larkin G. Mead; and reproductions of four of F. Hop kinson Smith's most beautiful water color paintings, with comment by Perriton Maxwell. The fiction fea tures in the above enumeration are illustrated by the following well known artists: Albert B. Wenzell, Howard Chandler Christy, Charles Grunwald. H. C. Edwards. Frank Adams and George R. Brill.
