Dave Campion as Johnny .has the audience with him from the start. Miss Carrie Weller as the aunt and Frank Jones as Phil have the comedy end of the piece and keep the house in an unroar of laughter. Richard Walling as Wayburn. has an unenviable part, but plays it capably. while Florence Forbes and Wallie Ay ers are well chosen for the parts of Jeremiah and Dorothy. The engagement opens with a mat inee Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The other matinees are on Tuesday. Thursday and Saurday at 2. H. N. G. C. SHOW. A rare treat is in store for the pa !trons of the H. N. G. C. Friday and I Sunday. The lovers of clean artistic, pictures cannot fail to be attracted by this week's program. The manage ment of the H. N. G. C. appreciate the still increasing patronage of the best people of Algiers. With this en- couragement, improvements will be made that will please everybody. Mae Murray in "The Plow Girl" is a play that cannot fail to please. This production is characterized as the most brilliant work which even the versatile Mae Murray has done on the screen. In this she gives her. audience a splendid presentation of. an English girl who has been forced into slavery by a brutal Boer farmer. AI mong the many menial duties which she is compelled to perform there is the driving of the oxen in the field during the plowing season. The story itself is a powerful one which carries, the spectator from the broad South African veldts to the drawing rooms of the most aristacratic of British so cial leaders.' In it Miss Murray has; eclipsed all her former successes. Dustin Farnum in "A Son of Erin." All descendants of that noble race will be proud of their nationality when they shall see the portrayal of one of the most beautiful Irish characters.: Dennis O'Htara. an Irish peasant, ar r!ives in America and secures a posit ion on the New York police force. When he sends his sweetheart, Katy O'Grady. his photograph taken in a police uniform, she believes it to be a "faked" costume picture taken at Coney Island. Dennis' next letter in 'forming her he Is no longer a police-: man confirms her suspicion. Dennis loses his position through graft exposure but his fearless, hon est character attracts attention of the 1 reform leaders and he is re-instated. Finally he is made a captain. When O'Grady arrives in New York to wed her lover her surprise and admiration are beyond expression. Seeing that the serial the "Lass of the Lumberland" could not be finished before Lent, it has been discontinuedl until after Easter. Do not forget that Friday's show is for the purpose of raising funds to tfinance the Sunday Lenten Lectures. I (',me and help yourselves. You'll bei the ones to profit by thebe lectures.
