The women's retreat was a great and gratifying success. F:ather lar kin was. indeed, pleased at the re sults of his effeorts. Men of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, four days of this week are set apart by your pastor for your spe cial spiritual benefit. He has ipre pared for you some straight frotm the-shoulder talks. lie will not throw off his coat or break chairs. but he will tell you truths of great importance to you in a manly and forceful manner: in a manner that cannot fail to appeal to you. All men are requested to become apostles for these few days. And let thosei who are not accustomed teo walk alone leave tihe young lady home for a few nights and pick a maon on the way, thus the journey to the church will not bee so lonesome and you will help to fill the church. The different societies are urged to be the leaders. The Holy Name So clety is especially requested to be on hand for these exercises and for the communion, although they had their communion a couple of weeks ago. The K. of C.'s. C. K. of A.. the tiber nlans, II. N. (1. C.. seniors and ju niors, all should get together and give the good example. All the lead ing men, professional and others, are especially requested to be present. The servk-es will consist of rosary. sermon and benediction on Wednes day, Thursday and Friday at 7:30. Sermons by Father larkin, S. M. Masses will be announced at the evening services. PALM SI'NI)AY. Blesing of ipalms at the 10:;tO 'clock mass. Palms can be secured from Louis la Hare. Everybody should have a palm at that mass'and hold it in hand during the blessing and reading of the Passion. Everybody should also be supelied with a New Testament or a book havin the Passion and should read it with the priest. Other masses at 5. 7 and 9 o'elo-k. Baptisms from 3 to 4. Illustrated lecture at 3:30. The last of the illustrated lectures will be given Sunday at 3:30. The subject will be the eonclusion of the Life of Christ, the Our Father and the Rosary. Last Sunday's lectuire. though somewhat long, was enjoyed by all. Next Sunday's will be much shorter. CONFIRMATION OLASS. Examinations for this class will be gin next Sunday at 4 p. m.
