let Bogalusa FAIL and on the FOURTH of JULY?
$35,000 was the amount allotted Bogalusa, The
money is here if each will only do his part. If
you have purchased the limit, there is nothing
more that you can do except take out the limit for
some member of your family. Y ou can see your
friends and neighbors and show them the import
ance of purchasing all the stamps they pössihly
can.
Remember, when you purchase War Savings
Stamps, that you are donating NOTHING. On
the contrary you are INVESTING your money in
the safest and best paying bonds that the United
States has ever offered. These "Baby Bonds"
can be cashed at any post office in the United
States after giving ten days' notice if it becomes
necessary for you to sell them. If Bogalusa and
Washington Parish take the allotment assigned to
them it will bring $85,000.00 in interest here on
January 1, 1923. Can you imagine what effect
this saving will have on the community when
over HALF A MILLION DOLLARS is paid to resi
dents here in one dav?
