Located about the center of the block on Front Street between Ev eret and Ferrett streets in Morgan City is an establishment in which the citizens of Morgan City may take a great civic pride. Not many towns or cities in the country can boast a , retail establishment that presents the modern exterior and interior view which greets the visitor on en tering the Henry Loeb & Co., Ltd., Dry Goods and Clothing House. Only a brief acquaintance with the pro prietor of this establishment, Mr. Henry Loeb is necessary to reveal the source and resources from which this Front street store has sprung. Industry, progressiveness and effi ciency are the characteristics of Mr. Loeb, and like his place of business, the proprietor is an institution of which the people of the community are justly proud. Twelve years ago, the present business operated by Mr. Loeb was incorporated under the name of Henry Loeb & Co., Ltd. For the past ten years the business has owned its own building and during that time the store arrangements and methods have kept in constant touch with the onward march of changes in store equipment and store manage ment. Today its broad plate-glass front greets the passer-by with an ar ray of the things that the season at hand has brought forth. Artistic dis plays of clothing for men, women and children are shown here and nothing has been omitted from the Mr. Loeb looks with optimism upon style category of fall and winter, the business prospects for Morgan City for the months now to follow. It is his opinion that the entire com munity is booked for a splendid and successful season and that Morgan City's multiplied resources have nev er been in a more promising condi tion than now. As for the future, Mr. Loeb estimate the attainments of the city to be limited only by the capacity of the citizenship. With its advantageous geographical location, its ideal climate, its waterways and inviting outlook to outside investors it is his opinion that the good, old town has before her years of great industrial achievement. This cheerful outlook is undoubtedly assured, in Mr. Loeb's opinion, as he considers the citizens of Morgan City and sur rounding country to be of the salt of the earth and imbued with civic and personal ambition that will emcom pass all these possibilities.
