Votes will not be given for the sale of Fountain Pen unless such sale it made in connection with an order taken for subscription. The skedule of votes as given positively will not be changed during this contest. No special voting offers will be introduced in addition to the conditions herein set forth. The Guaranteed Fountain Pens will be supplied to each contestant who desires to sell them in order to increase his or her vote credits. Any person living >n St. Mary Parish may become a contestant. Any person may nominate another person as a candidate to ••nter th contest. Each person nominated will be given a number and the candidate* nt-me and number will be immediately entered in The Review contest book . Only the number of each contestant or candidate will be published until the close of the contest. Any person may nominate himself or herself to become a contestant When a contestant is onced nominated and a number assigned that contestant can not withdraw and turn the votes already entered to his or her credit over to another contestant. However, a contestant may with draw from the contest at any time and turn his or her votes and his or her number over to any person who is not a contestant. Every contestant is required to make a weekly report of the votes t< v hich he or she is entitled. That is, each contestant must render an ac count at least once each week of all subscriptions orders received in order t ' the proper vote credits for such orders. \ otes will be given on all money collected on subscriptions to th» Morgan City Daily Review and the Morgan City Weekly Review, and on all money paid on commercial printing, and on the Guaranteed Fountain Pens. No votes will be given for advertising The skedule of votes is given elsewhere on this page under the head mg of "VOTES, AND HOW TO GET THEM." The Morgan City Daily Review and The Morgan City Weekly Review will publish a bulletin at least twice a month giving the number and stand ing of each contestant fhe contest will begin October 10th. 1010. and will close March Is» 1917 A 26-piece set of Wm. A contestant can not win hut one set of silverware, but the winners o/ the sets of silverware will not be disqualified from winning one of th grand prizes at the close of the contest Votes will only be credited on actual cash subscriptions cash-on-delt very commercial printing, and for cash received for each $2.00 Fountain Pen. Upon receiving notice of nomination, each person who desires u> become a contestant in this great race must immediately call at the office of The Morgan City Daily and Weekly Review and receive a Contest Receipt Book and instructions concerning the proper use of same A perfect record will be kept by the Review of the entire tran* action of the contest and these records will be audited by a competent set of judges at the close of the contest. The receipt books, which will be furnished free of charge to each contestant, will afford a perfect record of the votes to which each con testant is entitled. No contestant will be permitted to sell one of the famous Barnett Fountain Pens unless persons buying same subscribes for either the Daily or Weekly Review at the same time. Subscriptions to the Daily or Weekly Review may be taken ami votes for the same credited without the sale of a Fountain Pen.
