Entered as second class mail mat ter at the Postofflee of Morgan City, La. NEW THEATRE "The Destroyers" will be the of fering tonight at this popular house. Tt is a Vitagraph production in five parts with Lucille Stewart and Hunt ley Gordon as the two leading characters of the play. The scene is in snow-bound Canada and one of the attractions is a famous dog, one of the malamutes dogs who at one time was in the dog train of Robert W. Service, the Canadian poet. Miss Lucille Stewart, leading woman in "The Destroyers" is a valiant champion of the blonde. Are Blondes Fickle? Read what Miss Stewart says: "I think," says Miss Stewart, that all this talk about blondes being unfaithful and having but little sen timent as compared with brunettes is the most silly talk that I have ever heard in my life. 1 have never known a single instance in which the blonde whenever compared to the brunette was not jus't as true and just as lov ing as the brunette could possibly be. Why a woman should feel less deeply because she has yellow hair instead of black hair is somethin that I cannot understand. "As a matter of fact all the great love affairs of history almost without exception have blondes as the fami liar figure and it is certainly true that constancy is not the least of all Romance. "Who was more constant to any love than Cleopatra was to Anthony and it is a proven historical fact that one of her greatest charms to the Roman was the fact that she was a blonde in a brunette country. "Helen of Troy, whose constancy to her lover, Paris, cost her life, her lover's life and the sovereignty of Ilium was a blonde; as also was He loise, Rosemonde, Iseult and Pene jlope wife of Odysseus, and nearly all r of the women whose lovers and lives are written in letters of immortal Photo Plays of Class JIT THE OPERA HOUSE. 1 PROGRAM HARD TO BEAT THE CLASS OF SERVICE WE USE Monday's, Blue Birds, Universal Comedies & Animated Weekly.
