I was unable to do any of my work. I just wanted to sleep all the time, for that was the only ease I could get, when I was asleep. I became a nervous wreck [ust from die awful suffering with my head. I was so nervous that the least noise would make me jump out of my bed. I had no energy, and was unable to do anything. My son, a young boy, had to do all my household duties. I was not able to do anything until I took Cardui. I took three bottles in all, and it surely cured me of those awful headaches. That has been three years ago, and I know the cure is permanent, lor I have never had any headache since taking Cardui. .. Nothing relieved me until I took Cardui. It did wonders for me." LETS BEGIN TO SWAT 'EM EARLY THIS SEASOhf The most effective time to light la before the enemy is ready. Why not open a swatting campaign before the fly is ready? That wonld give a strate gic advantage which would keep the pest in check. One can hardly imagine anything more desirable than a flyless com munity. Of course, it is hardly possi ble to eliminate all flies, but experi ments have shown that flies can be eliminated to such an extent that they will be hardly noticeable. Files breed in manure and other ani mal nnd vegetable waste. By eliminat ing these breeding pieces or by treat ing them with substances which will kill the fly larvae, flies can be almost entirely eliminated tfom any firm or community. By starting early, any community can practically eumtaate the fly nui sance hat if the fly la given an oppor tunity to propagate, extermination is well-stgh Impossible. The trouble with most anti-fly campaigns Is that they ora not started until tile flies begin to give trouble. Then It Is too late for effective work. THE FIRST FLY Why, there's n fly I Seems kind o' good, doesn't it, to hear It buzzing around contentedly in that sonny window? It means that spring has come. Yon are glad to see it, just as you wel come the crocuses and bluebirds. But wait a minute. Where did that fly come from? Not up from Florida with Gentle Sister South Wind, as did Welcome Robin and Winsome Bluebird. No, it hatched out of a muck heap, and it came right into the bouse ''without wiping its feet. And its mate will go back to the muck heap to lay more eggs, and by the time the hot days come the two will have some millions of descendants. And all of them will come into the house without wiping their feet, and they will leave flifb and disease gems in year food. Spoils the romance, doesn't it? The fly is your ene my.
