There are numerous details to be worked out before those summoned can actually be sent to their train ing cantonments. It is believed now, however, that a considerable num ber will have been finally selected before August 1. The entire força will be ready with the exception pro bably of a few disputed esses, by the time the sixteen cantonments are ready, early in September. Provost Marshal General Crowder under whose jurisdiction the selec tive draft men will remain until they are transferred to the books of toe adutant general as soldiers, pointed out today that the local boards act ually are selection, not exemption boards. Their primary purpose he said, was to select from registered men those qualified for military ser vice. The men they turn away after examination will be rejected, rather than exempted, because of physicial disability or dependents. The exemption boards proper are the .district boards, which have pow er to say whether the work a man la doing at home will be more impor tant to toe government than his ser vice} as a soldier. _ A bad taste in to«' mouth from a disordered sturmirh and back ft tost usually te a torpid liv er;—A condition which invitee die ease.
