Baton Rouge.— With 420 students presenting them selves for enrollment by noon last Wednesday, and a long line waiting to be admitted at the door of the alumni building, the Louisiana State University promises to have a large attendance this session. The enlistment of the student army training corps at the university probably will bring the attendance up to one thousand or more, it Is thought. It Is evident the enrollment of young women this session will be materially in excess of that of any previous year, even though the num ber of women attending the univer sity has increoeed from year to year. Southern University already has en rolled 442 negro men and women for its various courses during the session now beginning, and has turned away 150 more because of lack of room for them, announces President J.
