A man who had rented for twenty years would own not a stone in the foundation, not a shiugle in the roof. It takes two thiugs, two very important things, to turn n house into a home ; one is its use, the other its unincumbered ownership. Rent money will give you use, but only purchase money will give you ownership. Payments to the As sociation are in no sense rent money ; they are purely and simply purchase money ; they do secure the use of the home as fully as would rent money, but at the same time they gradually lend to complete ownership. Rent payments secure present use only; Association pay ments secure both present use and ultimate ownership. This is no mere theory, promising much on paper and yielding nothing in prac tice; it is the actual experience of scores of our own thrifty citizens, many of them your closest neigh bors.
