ARTICLE VI. :The corporate powers of this Cor poration shall be vested in and exer cised by a Board of Directors to be composed of ........stoc.kholders, who shall be elected at the annual meeting of the stockholders, which shall be held on the first Monday of the month of April of each year, beginning with the first Monday of Ihe month of April, in the year 1910. At all stock holders' meetings, all elections shall • be by ballot, each stockholder being entitled to one vote for each share of stock owned by him. Each stock holder shall be entitled to vote, whether i persuuon or by written proxy. ' Notice of all meetings of stockholders shall be given by sending a notice by registered mail to each stockholder at d his or her last known postoffice ad dress, at least fifteen days prior to the meeting designated. ARTICLE VII. The officers of this Corporation shall be a President, Vice-president, a Secretary and a Treasurer, and the offices of secretary and Treasurer may be filled by one and the same person at the same time. Electrie Theatre Opened Monday Night. SThe electric theatre, owned and ' managed by Ti. R. Barbee and W. I Diedrich, opened Monday night and gave its initial entertainment to a well' filled house. They run about ie 2,000 feet of film, which gives a a pro Sgram of some length. Musio is also a feature of the entertainment. The theatre is nicely arranged and, in of fact, everything bids fair to make this home enterprise a success. And it sh'ould be. An evening's diversion, furnished by home people and for home people, deserves to be patron ized rather than the small show which takes the money out of the town and country and leaves nothing but, too frequently. a demoralizing influence upon those who siupport it.
