Mr. and Mrs. Marcantel promised to receive the shivaree flock Saturday evening and to serve them to wine and cake and other refreshments such as would sui the oc casion. 'Mr. David Marcantel and Miss Eve Buller were united in the bonds of wedlock on thl 12th and are now living at the former's home near Fenton. A. V. Peloquin was laid up all last week with a bruised leg, falling from a broken door step Sunday. Mr. Alex Miller ibrought his wife to Welsh Friday, where she obtained medical treatment from Dr. Stewart. Mrs. Miller has been sick for several days, but was compeled to give up the hope of wearing off the illness, and go to a Doctor for treatment. Mr. A. B. Laidlaw has just received a cargo of grapefruit and satsuma trees of about 2,600 and is now setting them out. The trees are apparently in good condition and looliig fine and healthy, We failed to learn the names, Frjday a crowd or Sportsmen. went througn Fenton with six or seven fox hounds.
