Cotton is the biggest and most im portant product of the South-the staplec rop, the thing that brings more money into the cotton producing states than any other. The 1919 crop in Tex as was estimated at two million seven hundred thousand bales, worth ap proximately four hundred and five mil lion dollars. The handling and financing of this tremendous business involves a great deal of specialized work clsasifyir and sampling every bale. Samples from each bale must be graded several times during the journey of the cot ton from the farmer's field to the fac tory. This work requires trained men. The demand for such men is always urgent. The ability to grade cotton is essential for the local buyer, em ployees of bonded warehouses and compresses, epesentatives of northern factories, cotton brokers, and in many other branches of the industry. The farmer himself aught, in protection of his own interests, to -be able to grade cotton. He is completely at the mercy of the buyer. It is self-evident that a man, in order to get full value for what he has to sell aught to know what he is selling. We can make you a competent cot ton classer in a few weeks' time, quali fying you for a position as buyer, or wherever the services of a capable cotton man are needed. Our course in cludes classing, stapling, averaging, buying, selling, shipping, exporting, keeping of Munger's Gin Rceord, Mer chants' cotton record, warehouse rec ord, cotton Office Stock books, and other blanks necessary to the bust ness.
