Said election to be held at the Court house in the Town of Winnfield, La., and the said commis sicnersand clerks so appoirted shall proceed to count the number of votes cast in favor of said tax and the amount of property voted therefor, and the num ber of votes cast against said tax and the amount of property voted against the levy of said tax and mdake their returns to the Mayor a nd Board of Aldermen of the Town of Winsfield on the next day a ter holding said election who will meet on said day and promulgate the result of said election. All legal voters under the erection laws of the State of. Be it ordained by the Police Jury of the Parish of winn, La., in regular session assembled, That a special election be held throughout west Union School District, parish of winn, state of Louisiana, on Wednesday, August 5s, 1906, at which there shall be submitted to the prop erty tax payers who are entitled to vote under the election law.pof the state of Louisiana the question of levying on all the taxable property in the said west Union school district, winn parish, La., a special tax of five mills on the dollar for a period of ten years in aid of the public schools throughout said district, sad tAx to be levied and collected according to law. Sec. 2. Be it further ordained, etc., That the commissioners of said election shall receive the ballots of all property tax payers who are entitled lo vote under the election laws of the state of Louisiana, being voters of the said west Union school district, wina perish, La., and before depositing the same in the ballot box shall endorse thereon, in the presence of the voter, the name of the voter and the vaint of the assessed property voted for or agalnst the levy of said five ill tax in a14 of palkl schools rs aforesaid. Sec. 3.
