One 1 gin is that there are many different IN,, kinds of girls, such as blondes, w01 brunettes, redheaded and many j"a others too numerous to mention. an But any and all of them will, af- ,, ter they are 15 years old, fall in' tl love with the first thing that comes tiv along with pants on, and are cra- lat zy to marry until they are 18 tht years old. If not married at this wi1 age they will become raven becus- to sed. Some girls think a great ate deal of dress, which is commenda- ne ble; all of them think lots of the Ia boys, which is not. My idea of a dii girl is a brunette, good looking. lea weighing 125 pounds of girl, less in; nine pounds of anything else. ne When a girl wears her first long dif dress and learns to dance she gets wt stuck up and won't notice any of el the boys except the dudes. But th she generally wants to marry so th bad that she notices that other sl boys as the dudes evaporate. Most ', every girl thinks she is good look- th ing but you can't find any other v girl that thinks so about her. If i, there are any good girls I have U( yet to learn their acquaintance, as o the girls that have come under nt my observaticn are mean, meaner, a meanest. I suppose there are good N girls in other places where I have not been, or there wouldn't be any angels. Some girls think they are real smart, but it is generally the other girl that don't think so. 01 I love all the small girls because n' they're not old enough to be com- ti posed entirely of ribbons, feath- rt ers, flowers and strut like their P i older sister. One and the main " reason why I don't like them when t' they arrive at that state of life is because they won't notice boys of n my size and even larger. They " look upon us as youngsters and Ih have no feeling in speaking of us kids. That, of course, hurts my feelings, especially if I am inclin- n ed to be in love with the girl that C' looks upon and speaks to me in a such a manner. I can stand all g of this, but when she has a 2x4 8 dude with a mustache, cane and a derby, hanging to her, it is then " that forbearaince ceases to be a r' virtue, and I am constrained to y unscrew the 40c dude's head from " the rest of his body and throw it into the briar patch. But my day h will come 3 or 4 years later when ii my girl is married and has to go I to the wash tub to support an ex. t dude and a couple of brats. Then I will be supporting a nice grow ing mustache, wearing a derby and twirling a gold headed cane and be having one of the nice, sweet-tempered school girls, that e -I spoke of a while ago, in love a Swith me. I will play dude my-i I self, long enough to get even, at I any rate. I wouldn't have any one think for an instant that I am not having a good time with the, little girls now; though they look upon me as their friend and pro tector and expect me to as.ist them in all of their childish trou- f . bles. They look upon me as be-i uing smarter than they are in all L things except wading in the pond. They can wade farther than I canl unless I take off my pants. There is as much fun in sliding down hill ou a barrel stave with the girlK as there is in being president of aI national bank.- --J. E. Surman, in 'i Times. S A 'I'ale of Co-operation.
