For sale Labbe's. Adertise MESSENGER. SDIED. Miss Berths Martin, sister of Senator Robert Martin, died at Covington, La., on Friday June 2nd at the age of 34 years. Miss Martin had been sick for some time, and her death was not 2 unexpected. Her remains were brought here Saturday evening, and the funeral took place at five o'clock the same evening from the Catbolic church. Her mortal re mains were followed to the grave 7 by a large concourse of sorrying relatives and friends. We extend our condolence to '4 the bereaved family. Mr. Francois des Mazillieres du 6 Suan de la Croix, died on the De la Croix plantation, this parish, at 4 o'clock Tuesday evening, the 6th inst., aged 73 years and 9 months. He was buried from the Catho lic church Wednesday evening at 5' o'clock. Mr. P. Ketchatn of Pike City. Cal., says: 'During my brother's late sickness from sciatic rheumatism, Chamberlain's Pain Balm was the only remedy that gave him any relief.
