The minutes of the s sion of May 9th Slast, were read and approved as record t ed. Numerous claims and petitions for Pensions were presented, read and re ferred to the commuittee on claims for examination. The Report of the Treasurer, on the General, Drainage and School Funds of the parish were also read anud referred under the rules to the committee on F!ian:'e for examinatfon and report at to-norrow'$ session. At this time, on the motion of Mr. Parra seconlded by Mr. E. U. Morvant the Jury resolved itself into a Board oI I Reviewers for the purpose of examining and equalizing the assessments set forth on the assessment Rolls for the year 1Wil, submitted to tlhe Jury by the J gstessor. Mr. E. U. Morvant was called upon to preside over the Board of Reviewers. The Board having examined the said Roll for considerable time, on motion of Mr. Aucoin seconded by Mr. Baspet the I Board of reviewers rose reporte pro gress, 'and asked to set again on to-mor row to c6mplete its examination. We have also examined the flooring in the recent addition to the Sheriff's office, and we find that a cer tain portion of the floor thereof is rotten and needs to be changed at that place. Your committee therefore recommend that the Flooring in the two Jail cells be entirely made new, and further that the rotten portion of the flooring in i the Sheriff's office be repaired at once.
