P pars, a negro laborer living a short aS distance above town was found dead i on the levee. He was oa his way to c town, he had been sick for several e days, but insisted on coming to town, saymg that he would come if it was the last thing he did. Mr. James Caillouet an old and espected citizen of this place died ast Tuesday morning at 12:30 o'clock at the residence of his son Mr. Clay Caillouet on Jackson street. Mr. Caillouet was 70 years of age and had always lived in this Parish. He eaves several sons brothers and many relatives to whom the Sentinel extends ts sympathies. White Man Turned Yellow.
