Be it further enacted, etc. That for the purpose of holding the said election in accordance with law, this commlisson shall give thirty (30) days notice thereof by publication in the Thibodaux Sentinel, the fflicial Journal of the Part-h of Lafourche, and the said notice shall set forth in detail the proposition to bea utmitted as contained in the petition for the submission of such proposition and this ordinance, that the authorities ordering the election will in open session on a day and at an hour and place named in said notice, proceed to open the ballot boxes, examine and count the bal lots, in number and amount, exanline and canvass the returns, and declare the result of laid election, and the said notice shall further name, fx and disignate the polling places at which thbe said election will be held. the sameto be the usual nolling places, and the commissioners sad clerks of elec. lion, who will serve atanchi polling places.
