ing assembled, that a franchise for the pert
construction of a toll Canal lateresect- pays

between the 33rd and 5Rrd, mile post on
bayou Lafourche below the town of pert
Thibodaux, he and is hereby granted to list
Messrs. Bragard and Constantin Bros., lis
their heirs and assigns upon the follow- the
ing conditions, to-wit: tnei
(1) The said Canal shall be not less
than 311 feet in width and shall at all

all times be free for use by the Parish tion

from the bayou Blue on the west side of I

dore or other deep lakes or bayous on
the east side of the said bayou La- die
fourche, within five years from this flijl
date, under penalty of the forfeiture of
