The management of the Demo cratic mass, meeting tomorrow, (SATURDAY) night reegrets that Che capacity of the Grand Opera House will not be anything like sufficient to accommodate the thou sands of persons who desire to hear Mr. Bryan, and for this rea son, It will be necessary to refuse admission to all children, unless ac companied by their parents. The bride, who is one of the most attractive members of the founger set of Vienna, wore a suit of blue. She carried a large bou quet of beautiful white chrysanthe mums. The wedding music, from Lohengrin, was played by Miss Elisabeth Higgins. The house was ▼ery artistically decorated with au tumn leaves, roses and ferns. Following the ceremony,Mr. and Mrs. Bounds left for a wedding trip to New York and other Northern cities. Upon their return they will reside at Vienna, where the groom Vi prominently connected with the Vienna Milling Co. Mr. Bounds is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Bounds, of Mardela. The bride of yesterday was a former teacher of Mhools in Dorchester county. The out-of-town guests included Mrs. C. B. Hearn and Miss Hennie Hearn, of Baltimore; Mrs. J. W. Corkran and Mr. P. W. C. Webb.of Salisbury; Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Bearn, and! Mrs. James M. Robert son, of Cambridge; Mrs. Victor Par yin, of Minneapolis; Miss Bessie Bounds, Mrs. Irving Cooper, Miss Annie Bounds, Miss Annie Robert son. Senator Kern, Democratic Leader, Thinks His Appointment Good Until March Fourth. • Washington, Oct. 23. —Maryland’s | election of a United States Senator | will precipitate a warm controversy I in Washington if the successful can ! didate expects to take his seat at | the regular session in December. I According to Senator Kern.chair- I man of the Committee on Privileges I and Elections, the next Senator from Maryland cannot take his seat before March 4. According to oth -1 ere who believe that Blair will I be successful and feel ‘that Wilson i Democrats will need all the votes j possible, the amendment providing ! for the direct election of Senators will permit the new Senator to take his seat as soon as his election is certified to by the State of Mary i land. “The election, as I understand I it,” said Senator Kern this raorn i ing, at the White House, "is to determine a successor to Senator Jackson, who was appointed by the Governor of Maryland as a recess appointee, namely, until the next session of the Maryland Legislature meets, which is in January.
