IULY 2, i*H9 Town Council Proceedings The Commissioners of Cambridge met in regular business session Mon day evening, Mayor Orem and Com missioners Brohawn, Lake, Jackson and St. Clair, present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The following building applica tions were u,p for second reading and granted; L. Philip Skiuner, garage at 112 Locust street. M. Warren Hooper, garage at 303 Locust street. Bills amounting to $589.68 were passed and ordered paid. Motion made, seconded and carried that the Citizens' Band be engaged to play in the Spring Valley for ten weeks, beginning July 10th, for the sum of SIOO. Motion made, seconded and carried that the budget as prepared by the Clerk be accepted and passed, the tax rate being 60 cents on the SIOO for the year beginning July 1, 1919. Adjourned. o P. 0. S. of A. Install Tonight National President W. J. Heaps to Attend. Prof. W. James Heaps, National President, P. O. S. of A., telegraphed that he surely would be in Cam bridge tonight, with other national and State P. O, S. of A. officers, to institute Washington Camp, No. 101, at Cambridge. All members of the Lodge are re quested and urged to be present in Odd Fellows' Hall at 8.15. Each member also is requested and privi leged to bring desirable applicant along with him.
