upon and carefully questioned ns to the

entirely cleared of any suspicions, and

cated. The Doctor suddenly left the city on
"Wednesday night for Ohio, taking his
fHtnily with him, nnd this too, it is said,
without explanation to any one. By nonio
it is contended that it wus dono at iho nd
vice of numerous friend and a largo num
ber of tho Methodist clergy, while others
say thnt such Is not the case, thnt the
Doctor felt insecure from tho gnnwing of
conscience, nnd ho lias lieu to no ono
knows where, and novcr will return. Ho

states that when sho was seduced by Dr.
Huston sho wus only fourteen years of ago,
and at which time he was pastor of St
Viuil's church ; nnd further stales thnt her
Intimacy with othor men was advised by
him.
