Arbor day is a day that should be made much of in any locality, but especially in a new country like this is. What easterners miss more perhaps than any other one thing is trees. True we have many trees along the river bottoms and in coulees, but in the city they are conspicuously abient. Trees can oe easily and cheaply pro cured and with a little care after trans planting the beauty of our city as well a* the material value of property, would be greatly increased. If every young person in Williston would plant a couple of trees and care for them for a few months, watering them when necessary, they would be doing much to enhance the beauty of our city, and in time woaki have interesting stories to tell to the fnture generations which would rise up to call them blessed.
