W* I. vm .! t! The ^Kilties" are Coomin. One of the greatest events of the season will be the appear ance of the world-famed Kilties Band of Canada, which will give two concerts at the opera house." This unique organization has caused a furore wherever ic has played in the United States, Can ada, Mexico and Europe, during the past five years, ana its ser vices are in great demand in the leading cities of the country, such as New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston. "The Kil ties," unlike most bands, give something besides a first-class concert. Included in the organi zation are 40 musicians, 7 solo ists, 6 Highland dancers, 4 bag pipers and a splendid vocal choir of 16 voices. It is most pleasur able, after hearing the instru mental music of such composers as Schubert, Litolff, Weber, Ros sini and Beethoven, to listen to this vocal choir render the ex quisite Scotch songs and delight ful American airs, which we all love so much. Then there is also the bagpiping and dancing which adds much to the program. The Kilties come to us fresh from their European tour, where they played some 500 concerts. The band is under the leadership of Mr. Albert Cook. The announcement of the com ing of the world-famed "Kilties" of Canada to Minot will be wel-, come news to all lovers of music, and also to those persons who enjoy a unique entertainment. The Kilties have achieved an international reputation, and their services are in demand in all of the large cities of the Unit ed States ana Canada. Recent audiences: Chicago at the "White City." last day of en gagement, 130,000 paid admis sions. Philadelphia last day 160,000 paid admissions the largest audience ever gathered together in America for a band concert. The first advance manager will be in town in a few days.
