John Hoynm of Deg Laos, who was arrested some time ago upon com plaint of Fred Becker, the Des Lacs merchant, on the charge of selling mortgaged property, was found not guilty in county court Wednesday. Hoyum was represented by Attorney R. A. Nestos. It was shown that Mr. Becfker ha', had a mortgage on one of Hoyum's cows, which the latter sold, but thr mortgage had been renewed before the cow wa8 sold, and the critter wag no|t included In the new moriga^f altho Becker kept the old note is collateral, unlbeknown to Hoyurr Beef cattle are getting very scarce all over the country.
