Ilecht Receives Insurance for Loss of Valuable Stallion Col. J. H. Hecht, prominent farmer and blooded stock breeder, who recent ly had the misfortune to lose his thor oughbred Belgian draft stallion, Arm ac de Lierde, from 'strangulated her nia' has just received payment in full from the Montana Livestock & Casual ty Insurance Co., of Helena, Mont., in which company he had insured the horse just a few weeks prior to his death, through the company's agent here, Fred L. Anderson of the First International bank. Mr. Hecht considers himself ex ceedingly fortunate in having had the horse insured, and is well pleased with the prompt and satisfactory settle ment of his claim. He has just pur chased the thoroughbred Belgian draft stallion "Garibaldi," formerly owned by Warren Moore of Bottineau, which is considered one of the best bred stal lions in the country. Needless to say Mr. Hecht lost no time in having this valuable animal fully insured in the above mentioned insurance company, and recommends that all owners of blooded livestock do likewise as the loss of any animal of this kind is usu ally a very serious financial loss to most livestock owners unless at least partially covered by insurance. The brilliant coloring on the wings of some kinds of butterflies is a bitter tasting pigment, which to a certain ex tent protects those species from being eaten by their foes. Frogs will try to eat sulphur butterflies and after tast ing them will promptly reject them.
