WHO AUK THE PATRIOTIC ONES? The fellow who is demanding a dol lar an hour for fifty cents worth of work while the soldiers are fighting for dollar a day, is as much of a Hun as anybody can be and not be a :n farm Loans part and parcel of the body politic of Hunlund itself. And the scalawag who puts the high dollar and cent on the necessaries of life of the every day commodities is no loyal citizen even though he proclaim himself as Do You Need a Coal Shed? The patriotic way to order coal is to have the entire winter's supply delivered at once, early this fall. This saves hauling during bad weather and guarantees your comfort all win ter. New Mir Block PHONE 882 Make your FARM LOAN this Fall on the AMORTIZED PLAN and GET OUT of DEBT Our Amortized plan runs twenty years. The Federal Government plan runs thirty six years and requires semi-annual interest payments. Our plan has many ex cellent features not found in any other farm loan of which the fol lowing area few that every borrower will appreciate: Interest payable annually instead of semi-annually. Interest payable at any time of tlie year in advance of due date l'or which payment a liberal discount/vill be ereditod for prepayment. The entire loan can he paid up within one year or at any time thereafter, with no greater penalty than is required to pay off any ordinary loan and this can be done without a lot of delay or correspondence. One, two, three or more annual interest payments may be made at'anyjtime in[ advance,' at any time of the year for which liberal discounts will be credited for prepayment. On our Amortized Plan you pay interest and principal in twenty equal annual installments of (94.25 per thousand per annum For a loan'of $2000.00 you would pay the annual sum of (two times $!)4.S5), or $188.60 for a loan of $300.00 you would pay three times $1)1.25 per annum, for five thouiand five times $94.26 or 8461.25 etc., plus a reason able commission. The co^t of a loan of $2000.00 under our plan for a term of twenty years, if it was allowed to run the full twenty years, would be as follows: Twenty equal annual payments of $188.50 or a total of $3770.00 which amount pays interest and pr full cancelling the loan. If you borrow $2000.00 at 5% interest for a term of twenty yeare you pay out annually the sum of $100.00 for interest, and in twenty years you pay eut in interest 20 limes 5100.00 or 82000.00 which amount added to the unpaid principal of $2000.00 makes the total cost the sum of $4000.00 or $230.00 more than our plan. Our company last year had applications for farm loans amounting to the sum of Thirty Four Million Dol ars and closed loans for one-hall" that amount on seventeen million dollars. The amount available this year will be much less than last year while the demand will doubtless be much greater. For this reason, those who want to be sure of getting a farm loan should place with us their applica onilhout delay, no matter if the loan does not become due Jan. 1 next. Farmers having loans maturing this fall do not hesitate to call on me and get'any additional information ed. The low rates we offer will mean the early exhaustion of the Available funds, so we warn you not to delay with your application.
