The truck new, would cost more than $4,000.00, but it was secured from the state de partment in about the same manner thfc county secured the other trucks, by paying the frieght and what it' cost to put the truck in first class shape. The truck cost less than $1,000.00. The commissioners donned overalls and drove the truck home themselves. They arrived in Wilton the first afternoon and drove from that place to Minot Friday, txpwtae* ing no trouble. The truck will be used for hauling coal from the Burlington mines to the county farm and to the court house, and for other purposes on the farm. Five tons of coal can be hauled at a time and two trips easily made a day.
