"It is with a good deal of pleasure and

came so enthusiastic over its merits that
I at once made up my mind to recom

with colic pains that he sank at once to

remedy which helped him. I repeated
the dose and in fifteen minutes he left
my store smilingly informing me that he
felt as well as ever." Sold at Shaw's

Empnon Journal.
Dr. Elkin arrived home yesterday from
New: YbrK.
down the river, received a bad kick from
a horse, fracturing his jaw .and cutting
his tongue nearly in twain.—J. H. Van
Whart was laid out by a broncho, which
landed with his two hind feet square on
the stomach. He was in the bam at the
time, and the horse was supposed to be
sick. It was rather a close call for Jim,
but he is now slowly getting over the in
jury, and expects to be around town as
usual before long.—In the afternoon Mrs.
Jno. McRae was in town and just before
th6 storm came on started for home.
When nearly opposite Mr. Whitley's,
Park street, the horse became frightened
arid ran away, throwing Mrs. McRae out
of the rig. Her face was cut and bruised
in a frightful manner, and she wes other
wise injured and shaken. All the pa
tients are progressing favorably. The
looks of the weather Friday evening
must have'had the effect of creating a
panic among the amimals.
Beware of a Oough.
A cough is not a disease buta symptom.
Consumption and bronchitis, which are
the most dangerous and fatal diseases,
have for their first indication a persistent
cough, and if properly treated as'soon
as this cough appears are easily cured.
Chamberlain's Cough Remedy has proven
wonderfully successful, and gained its
wide reputation and extensive sale by its
success in curing the diseases which cause
coughing. If it is not beneficial it will
not cost you a cent. For sale at Shaw's
Drug Store.

Biliousness is a condition characterized
by a disturbance of the digestive organs.
The stomach is debilitated, the liver tor
pid, the bowels constipated. There is a
loathing of food, pains in the bowels,
dizziness, coated tongue and vomiting,
first of the undigested or partly digested
food and then of bile. Chamberlain's
Stomach and Liver Tablets allay the dis
turbances of the stomach and create a
healthy appetite. They also tone up the
liver to a healthy action and regulate the
bowels. Try them and you are certain
to be much pleased with the result. For
