Mail Robbkry. The mall bag from Cin
cinnati was stolen at the Depot last night.
The regular driver of the mall wagon being
unwell, another had been put In his plaoc.
He got the Cincinnati bag from the train,
rapped It in the horse-blanket and put It
under the seat of the wagon. He then went
for the mall bag on the Greenville train.
While absent some one stole the Cincinnati
bag. The driver did not discover the theft
until he returned to the Post Olllce. The
mpty bag having bean cut open was,8ub-
1 nfiitly found In an empty car near the
Depot. The thief has not yet been dUcov-
ered, neither Is It known whether the miss-
nit bu contained any thing valuable. The
police are of the opinion that the robbery
was committed by some one who came on
the train from Cincinnati.
