Last evening within the short Rpaco of two hour, two strangers stole ima bicycles, sold them to two different person, the bicycles were recovered by twO policemen a (id thO two bt rangers skipped town. The two strangers were well dressed orfon of medium size. 'They fir.st nailed onto a bicyclo belong ing to Andy HalduuC. Tbo wheel, a new Tribune purchased only a few hours heroic, had been left on West Center street by Mr. Ual dauf. After taking the, wheel the men camo down town and bold it to Flute Holmes a nce-m, m n saloon on North Main street . Holmes paid $3 to the men. Going on north a short distance tho men picked up a bicycle bo longing to Hairy Cowan, of Georgo street. They took the wheel to the west end where they disposed of it to a man wJiomj name is not known for $2. In each ease they represented that they were- in straightened circumstances nnd needed the money to got out of town with. Iloth thefts wore repotted to tho poliro almost immediately after ward. Holmes was seen riding the wheel and gave it up when he learned that it had been stolen. The purchaser- of tho other wheel rode down town and was stopped by another policeman.
