Bradt of Chicago, Preach, ed an Able Missionary Setmon Sunday Morning. It is now practically assured that tho FJrst 1'rcsytcrian church of this city will boon bo ropiesentod by a foreign missionary located in iv mission chinch to bo buH in somo 1'nr-olT country. Sunday morning it was announced that over Jj-100 had been subscribed by about 100 members of tho congregation, and that this makes the establishing o tho new imdssion a practical ccrtain ity. It is expected, however, that Hub amount will bo doubled before anything is done. Tho mission will be under the direct supervision of tho local congregation and tho mis sionary wi'.i report regularly on tho progress of his work. The plan to establish this mis sion is a part oE tho concentrated movement an foreign missionary work which lias been launched by tho Presbyterian church of tho United States. In tho past tho missionaries have been in chaigo of tho church in general. but under tho now movement tho work will ho mora definite.
