TWO GRAND SUMMER
EXCURSIONS
As usual, the Cunard White
Star Line is planning two ex
cursions this summer on their
largest steamer BERENGARIA
popular among our nationals
who are familiar with the ad
vantages of joining an ex
cursion that is personally es
corted by an experienced Tra
vel Conductor.
One of this excursions is on
May 28th which will be con
ducted by Mr. Alfred Markus,
popular among the readers of
our paper. No doubt, many of
you have previously made trips
escorted by Mr. Markus.
The other excursion is on
the same steamer which leaves
New York on June 17th like
wise escorted by an experienc
ed travel conductor who has
established a very favorable
reputation among travellers
who have joined his excursion
in the past
The advantages of joining
such an excursion is also that
you are travelling among
people of your own kind and
nationality. You are relieved
from all travel worries as the
conductor takes care of all the
necessary steps incidental to
a visit to the old country such
as baggage, passport, railroad
transportation, etc. There is
plenty of entertainment and
amusement aboard the ship
so that time flies fast.
Railroad trip from Cher
bourg takes you through Pa
ris where you have a chance
to see this wonder city and
by express you will continue
through the beautiful Alps to
your destination which is not
much more than an overnight
trip.
A visit to the old country at
this time of the year has many
advantages. You are just in
time to indulge in many fest
ivals and other affairs that
leave a pleasant memory.
