A change has been made in the fu neral plan by which the funeral part will be taken from Trinidad, Colo., in automobiles to Trinchera ranch, across the New Mexico line. The original plan was to go to Trlnchera station bv train and from there to the ranch But it was found that there was an automo bile hearse in Trinidad and arrange ments wire made to carry the body in this and the funeral party in automo biles 40 miles to the Martinez ranch, where the burial w 111 occur. I'nuernl Part. .U-companj inir the bod from El Paso was the widow, the daughters., Mrs Ilees Brunner, Mrs M T. Hernandez and Miss Virginia Martinez, Alfonbo Martinez, the son. M. T. Hernandez, a sonlnlaw, and Lieut Gov Eiequiel de Kara, of Xew Mexico, who was one of Mr Martinez's closest personal friends, anil who was with him at Trinthera ranih when he burled his sons there Felix Martinez, jr. who is at the ranch, will join the partv there, and W. 'J Hajden, of Las Vegas, N M, who will be named trustee of the estate after the affairs have been arranged b James G McNary. the executor and adminis trator, will join the partv at Trinidad. Other New Mexico friends of Mr Mar tinez are expitted to accompany the funeral partj to the ranch Mhsnch or I'lowers. The meat mass of flowers whuh were sent bv friends from all parts of the southwest, were packed in tioxes Fri rlat night and sent to Trim! 'ra to co er the grac. All the funeral arrange ments were in charge of James Graham MrXarj. whom Mr. Martinez alwas lefirred to as "one of his bojs." Tht tlnotion of Mr. McNary. and his untir ing efforts In arranging the last rites for his friend, was one of the touching incidents of the Martinez funeral.
