Middleton. a widow, was found beaten
and hacked to death in her bedroom
Wednesdaj. A bloodstained razor was
found, but nothing was found that
would explain blows on the front and
back of the head that fractured the
skull In each Instance.
Geo. Middleton. the husband of the
woman, was shot to death two years
ago. The police pronounced it a case
of suicide, but now are Inclined to tho
opinion that Middleton was murdered.

Practice for the T. M. C. A. circus
continues under a full head of steam.
The boys are becoming more enthu
siastic as they make progress in their
drills and stunts. The "Peewees" are
doing remarkably well in their tumb
ling as also are the juniors In their
high and broad diving.

work and the circus will be the means

to take the places of the experts.
