Bobby Roberts, as old man Theophl lua Sherry, ,who owns a yacht and has many little peculiarities all his own, plays the leading comedy part and Mils dry, droll way of getting laughs with no longer line than "I'm surprised," is a distinct and pleasurable relief from the slap-bang style of musical comedy. Ills niece, vonne, shares the center of the stage with her uncle. The part Is played by Irene Mae Boyd and she dances and elngs well and is good looking along with it, Billy Frawley, who is known here locally as a dancer and entertainer, was to have played the part of Eddie Sherry, but he quit the company at Isordsburg and the part was taken by an understudy who, with only a day's notice, learned the part and went through with It well, considering his brief time for study. Feplta Is an other good looking member of the Sherry chow. As tho gypsy girl she sings the ""Gypsy Love Song" well and Is sufficiently full of fire to make the part real. Gene Post, musical director, plays "Phllllppe," the supposed presi dent of Venezuela and tho real presi dent of the Janitors' union, and gets many laughs. Madam Sherry Is in three acts, 14 songs and 200 laughs. It has lost none of Its tunefulness and fun and Is good entertainment for all who have not seen Madam Sherry before and for those who have. N. The United Confederate Veterans and the United Daughters of the Confeder acy will observe decoration day on April 26 this year. This was decided at a meeting of the John Brown Camp, United Confederate Veterans at a meet ing held recently. They have also in vited the members of the G, A. P.. and the Spanish War Veterans' organiza tions, as well as all other friends of tho veterans to Join in the celebration. It will occur at t oclock on that date at Evergreen cemetery. The Confederate Veterans .have no memorial day but decoration day has been celebrated on April 26 in the south for many years and, following out this custom, will be observed here. Picnic to Follow. A picnic will be given In honor of the Confederate Veterans and their families at 6 oclock the same evening, at Washington park, with the general committee of the Robert E.
